Our Pastors

    Pastors/Overseers
Pastor Ray & Teresa Popham serve as Senior Pastors and Overseers of The Oasis.  Pastor Ray serves as the visionary, senior elder, leadership developer, and primary teacher/preacher for the body.  He ministers the Word of God in most of the Sunday Gatherings. Teresa oversees all administration and services.  She ministers the Word of God, teaches, and serves with Praise and Worship. In addition, she directs the Community Hope Center.
 

   Guest and Member Services
  Teresa Popham oversees the ministry to our guests and the Oasis family.  This includes administration,  the welcome center, helps and services, publications, appointments with the Senior Pastor, contact and visitation.

   Praise & Worship
Joel Leopard leads the Oasis musical praise and worship team.  He coordinates the musical part of the Sunday Gatherings, selects new music, coordinates musicians and singers, and watches out for the team.

     Audio and Media
Scott Popham oversees the audio and media center.  He is responsible for coordinating the different elements of sound, lighting, and graphics that enhance the musical worship, worship service, and delivery of the Word. He produces the audio messages and products for the Oasis.

 Various Team members coordinate and produce the graphics and media that enhance the sermon delivery and general worship atmosphere of the gatherings. 

   Volunteer Services

 Autumn Jones coordinates volunteer services at the Oasis.  Members are empowered to serve in various areas of ministry after making an application and receiving volunteer training and orientation.  They receive further training in the specific area in which they will serve.  Each member of the Oasis serves in at least one area of ministry.  Areas of service include providing for Coffeetime, cleaning, hosting, greeting, ushering, media, children's ministry, coffeehouse, prayer team, worship team, and more.  Faithful disciples and volunteers may become involved in our leadership training and mentoring program called "Eagles Training."

   Children's Ministry
Nicole Leopard oversees the Oasis Children's Ministry that includes The Lagoon (Nursery) and Discovery Bay (Children's Church).  She is responsible for coordinating environment, curriculum, master teachers, volunteers, and worker development.  She works with parents to ensure the Oasis serves as a help to parents in the spiritual development of their children. and to assist and advise them in that development.

    Coffeehouse

  Stephanie Goudy is our coordinator for Solomon's Porch Coffeehouse. Volunteers serve as baristas, servers, and mentor friends.  Christian based bands are able to showcase their music and ministry at The Porch.

Prayer Ministry

Stephanie Goudy also serves as the coordinator for our prayer ministry.  A group of intercessors meet weekly to lift before the Lord the needs of the church, our community, and our leaders. Prayer requests may be suubmitted in person, by phone, or by email.
