Our Ministry Team

Our Pastors

    Pastors/Overseers
Pastor Ray & Teresa Popham serve as Senior Pastors and Overseers of The Oasis.  Pastor Ray serves as the visionary, senior elder, leadership developer, and primary teacher/preacher for the body.  He ministers the Word of God in most of the Sunday Gatherings.
 

   Guest and Member Services
  Teresa Popham oversees the ministry to our guests and the Oasis family.  This includes administration,  the welcome center, helps and services, publications, appointments with the Senior Pastor, contact and visitation.

   Praise & Worship
Joel Leopard leads the Oasis musical praise and worship team.  He coordinates the musical part of the Sunday Gatherings, selects new music, coordinates musicians and singers, and watches out for the team.

     Audio and Media
 Rick Goudy oversees the audio and media center.  He is responsible for coordinating the different elements of sound, lighting, and graphics that enhance the musical worship, worship service, and delivery of the Word. He produces the audio messages and products for the Oasis.

   Graphics and Media
Scott Popham coordinates and produces the graphics and media that enhance the sermon delivery and general worship atmosphere of the gatherings.  He also serves as Oasis webmaster.

   Children's Ministry
Belinda Forrest oversees the Oasis Children's Ministry that includes The Lagoon (Nursery) and Discovery Bay (Children's Church).  She is responsible for coordinating environment, curriculum, master teachers, volunteers, and worker development.  She works with parents to ensure the Oasis serves as a help to parents in the spiritual development of their children. and to assist and advise them in that development.

   Lead Usher
 Gordie Leopard serves as the Lead Usher of The Oasis. He oversees the ushers and their ministry to and within the body during the Worship Gatherings and is available to assist guests and members in within the Gathering Room.

   Lead Greeter
 The Lead greeter oversees the greeting and welcoming ministry of The Oasis.  They oversee the greeters and their ministry to guests and the Oasis family during the Worship Gatherings and is available to assist with information, questions, and directions.

   Volunteer Coordinator
Tammy Bell serves as the Oasis Volunteer Coordinator.  She serves the Oasis body in helping them become an active volunteer within the church.  She coordinates the volunteer schedule, connects volunteers to ministries that are compatible to their gifts and desires, and coordinates volunteer training.
